Demo mode creates isolated environments for public demonstrations.

Enable

# Via flag
./botmux -demo

# Via environment variable
DEMO_MODE=true ./botmux

docker run -e DEMO_MODE=true -p 8080:8080 botmux

Behavior

  • Uses a separate demo.db database
  • Login: demo / demo (no password change required)
  • 3 pre-configured demo bots
  • Uses a fake Telegram API (telegram-bot-api.exe.xyz)
  • Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity
  • /api/health returns {"mode": "demo"} so frontend auto-fills credentials
